I always suspected that You were respected
For being so big, so large.
There wasn’t a place a person could race
Where You were not fully in charge.

But then I inspected how I had protected
Myself from believing You cared.
For then I would know how You love to blow
The cover of one hiding scared.

Now I have rejected a lie interjected
That You overlook someone so small
Yes, now I’ve believed and have gladly received
The joy You have over us all.
